Will the American stock convulses spread?

ANDIt appears Five minutes ago, that the American Marmarket was the only game in the city. Prices broke the records every other week; Rivals around the world have been behind. Now the faith of investors in the uniqueness of the country has shocked the deteriorating prospects for economic growth and the irregular protectionism of Donald Trump (see Chart 1). Investors are therefore less likely to pay much higher multipliers of basic profits for shares in American companies than for those mentioned elsewhere, by a decision that has been justified by larger profit margins and stronger growth prospects.
