Instruction to unlock in-game hints
Your goal is to find hidden words that fit the theme of the puzzle. If you are stuck, look for words you can. Every time you find three words from four letters or more, strands will reveal one of the theme words. These are the words I used to get those hints, but all the words of four or more letters you find will work:
- Beyond, Frat, precious stones noir, cake, naked, Pone, goal, Lops, Slop, Vino, Tarry, Mien
Answers for today’s strands
These are the answers that match the theme. The goal of the puzzle is to find them all, including the Spangram, a theme word that reaches to another from one side of the puzzle. If you have them all (I originally thought there were always eight, but learned that the number can vary), each letter on the board will be used. Here are the non -spangram -answers:

Today’s Spangram is Science Fiction. To find it, start with the S those four letters are on the far left row and wind over and up.
Fast tips for strands
#1: To get more ideas, see if you can adjust the words you have already found by adding an “S” or other variants. And if you find a word as will, check whether other letters are close enough to help you make a sill or invoice.
#2: Once you have received one theme word, look at the puzzle to see if you can see other related words.
#3: If you have received the letters for a theme word, but cannot come out, recommend three more indications words, and the puzzle relieves each letter in order, which reveals the word.
