Three Favorites Pixar and Miadzaki Masterpiece Make a List of “100 Best 21st Century Movies”

The way we do and even watch movies has changed dramatically in the last 25 years but a new project The New York Times And the summary seeks to determine what movies have been held during this period of radical shifts in the cinema landscape? More than 500 directors, actors and other Hollywood assistants serve ballots to help determine the list 100 of the best films of the 21st century.

Of course, animation fans know that in our corner of the global cinema in the last quarter of a century there were many artistic and entertainment triumphs. This list is only four (quite deserved) animated functions. The highest in the list is Exquisite From the legendary Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki and the studio Gibli and then three favorite movies with Pixar Animation Studios.

Here’s how the animated headings went:

Exquisite (Studio Ghibli) directed by Hayao Miyazaki, 2001/02 – No. 9

• Honor: The Japanese Academy Award for Best Film, Tokyo Anime Awards for the Animation of the Year and the best director, the Academy Prize for the Best Animated Function, Annie Awards
• John Torturro voted, who commented: “This is a movie for any child who has lost her parents in the department store or a big crowd. This is this pit in the abdomen. This is one of my daughter’s favorite movies. There are many things you have to watch when you are a father and it’s really fun to open something with them.”

Wall-e (Pixar) directed by Andrew Stanton, 2008 – No. 34

• Honor: Academy Prize for Best Animation Function (plus five nominations), nominations for the “Seven Annie
• Nathan Lane voted for

Above (Pixar) directed by Pete Docter, 2009 – № 50

• Share: Award Academy for Best Animation Function and Best Original Rate (plus three nominations, including the best picture), BAFTAS for the best animated movie and the best movie music (plus two nominations), Annie’s awards for the best animated function and the best function in the function (plus plus) the best original score
