This is what the newest iPhone air leaks say about the design

Apple is expected to release his thinnest phone later this year with the iPhone 17 Air. Rumors That the phone will be thinner than the 6.9 mm iPhone 6, but recent leaks give us a better idea than we had previously had from what we can expect.

But where Kuo said that the phone will have a 6.6-inch screen, Ice Universe says that it will actually be 6.9 inches as the iPhone 17 Pro Max-Ze say that both phones have the same “length, width, screen size and bezel” as the iPhone 16 Pro Max. On Friday, Youtuber Idevicehelp posted a video in collaboration with Leaker Majin Bu, which published Similar looking renders last month. IDevicehelp claims to show mockups of the standard, Pro MAX and AIR Models “based on internal documents.” The video lingers on the edge of the phone at times, and I was immediately struck by how much the seeing of me reminded me of looking at the edge on the 5.1 mm 13-inch M4 iPad Pro, one Apple device that is thinner than this is reportedly.

It is difficult not to notice Google Pixel-Like camera bar that extends from left to right at the back of iDevicehelp’s mockups of the iPhone 17 Air and Pro Max. It is unclear whether the beam is functional or just Apple tries some new aesthetics, but I welcome it all the same, if for no reason other than my iPhone 15 Pro Zo Dang is floppy when it is on my desk. Idevicehelp demonstrated with the 17 Pro Max Mockup that the bar seems to help there. But in both cases the rear cameras themselves are still sticking out of the bar, so it may not be perfect. Oh well, maybe next year.

Regarding the rest of the design, these renders and mockups seem to show it with buttons in the same places as the current iPhones ( iPhone 16thWho misses the camera control button), along with a USB-C port and speaker holes at the bottom. The phone is also expected to have a dynamic island and face -ID at the front. We will probably not know for sure how close to the renders are until September, when Apple usually reveals its latest batch flagship iPhones.
