The privacy commissioner of Canada says he has an investigation into the Power school Datalek.

While he worked to get more information, he said he is starting an investigation under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Acts (Pipeda).
“My direct focus is on ensuring that the company takes the necessary steps to tackle the problem and to protect the personal information from Canadians, in particular infringement of the intention and measures to reduce the risks for the affected, as well as actions To prevent future infringements, “he said.
Dufresne continued to say that the company informed the Canadians by the infringement, with credit monitoring and identity protection services that were delivered.

Under the information that was accessible according to Powersschool in Canada, the names of people, contact details, date of birth, limited medical warning information and in some cases were social insurance numbers.
