The German Olaf Scholz Slams JD Vance for suggesting more recording of the extreme right: NPR

The German Chancellor Olaf Scholz reprimanded the American Vice President JD Vance a day after Saturday Vance gave a speech Say that European leaders are not allowed to avoid extreme right -wing political parties.

On the second day of the Munich Safety Conference, Scholz spoke about the atrocities of the Holocaust, pointing out that Vance recently visited the Dachau concentration camp and used the expression ‘never again’.

Scholz emphasized that a dedication to “Never again” also applies to political parties such as the extreme right-wing alternative of Germany for the German party, also known as the AfD, who triggered the horrors of the Nazi regime.

He further said that Germany will not accept outsiders who intervene in the elections of the country and added: “That was not done, certainly not among friends and allies.”

Both Scholz and Vance’s comments come just over a week before Germany enters a major election. The AfD – approved by Trump advisor and billionaire Elon Musk – is Poll in second place.

The AfD was founded in 2013 and is a nationalist party whose political identity to blame immigrants for many of the problems of Germany. The German domestic intelligence service has placed the AfD under supervision for presumably extremismwho denies the party.

Last year the group became the First extreme right -wing party since the Nazis During the era of the Second World War, the most votes receive in an election of the state. But it must still be part of a federal management coalition as a result of a pact – also known as a “firewall” – by other parties to refuse to work with the AfD.

On Friday, Vance did not list the AfD directly, but said that German parties should drop the “firewall” – to the surprise and concern of European leaders in the Chamber.

“Europeans, the people, have a voice,” Vance said in the speech. “You can embrace what your people tell you, even if it is surprising, even if you don’t agree.”
