LONDON (AP) -The British Prime Minister Keir Starmer On Saturday, Russian President Vladimir challenged Putin to sign up at a cessation -the fires in his war against Ukraine when he is serious about peace, and said that allies will continue to increase the pressure on the Kremlin to a “operation for a movement”.

After a two-hour virtual meeting of what he called the “coalition of the willingness”, Starmer said that the “dithering and delay” of the Kremlin about the ceasefire proposal of US President Donald Trump and the “continuous barbaric attacks” by Russia on Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin, Putin Putin Putin, Putin Putin, Putin Putin, Putin Putin, Putin Putin, Putin Putin, Putin Putin, Putin Putin Putin, Putin Putin Putin, Putin Putin Putin, Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin, Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin Putin. voor Poets Putin voor Poets Putin voor Poets Putin voor Poets Putin voor Poets Putin voor Poets Putin voor Poets Putin voor Poets Putin voor Poets Putin voor Poets Putin voor Poets Putin voor Poets Putin voor Poets Putin voor Poets Putin voor Poets Putin voor Poets Putin voor Poets Putin voor Poets Poets Putin voor Poets Poets Putin For Poets Poets for Peace.

“We agreed that the ball was now in the Russian court, and President Putin must prove that he takes the peace seriously and signs up for a cease -the prime minister,” said the prime minister.

About 30 leaders were involved in the call, including European partners such as French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Also present were Ukrainian President VolodyMyr Zenskyy and leaders from Australia, Canada and New Zealand, as well as NATO civil servants and the executive power of the European Union.

Starmer called the meeting, the second in two weeks, as a means to help Ukraine in the light of a change in approach by the US, after President Donald Trump’s return, and support for any future possible peace mission. This time many more countries were involved than the previous meeting on March 2.

He said that there was a “stronger collective determination and new obligations were put on the table”, both with regard to defending the deal and also about the broader issue of the defense and safety of Europe.

Troops in Ukraine to protect peace

Starmer said that all those who were present, had re -confirmed their dedication to the long -term safety of Ukraine, and agreed that Ukraine “should be able to defend himself and to deter future Russian aggression.”

He added that “robust and credible security schemes” are the best way to guarantee lasting peace in Ukraine, and said that military planners would come together again in the UK on Thursday to promote practical plans to support the future safety of Ukraine.

Without providing precise details, Starmer said again that the Allies were ready to place troops in Ukraine to protect the peace after a ceasefiring. The UK and France have worked to give the allies of Ukraine to offer troops, weapons or other assistance to a European military force that could be used to reassure Ukraine and to ensure Russia again to attack again.

“We will build up your own defense and forces of Ukraine and be ready to implement as a ‘coalition of the willingful’ in the case of a peace agreement to help protect Ukraine on land, at sea and heaven,” he added.

Assistance without conditions

The meeting took place in the aftermath of an American proposal for a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine, which Zenskyy supported. Putin has indicated that in principle he supports a ceasefire, but has explained a large number of details that must be clarified before he agrees with a cease -the fire.

Starmer said that Zenskyy’s support for an unconditional ceases -the fires shows that Ukraine is the ‘party of peace’, while Macron said it showed ‘courage’.

In a statement, Macron said that Russia “does not seem to be sincere in search of peace” and that Putin was the fighting intensification before negotiating.

“This is the moment when our strategy of Vrede comes into play by strength,” he said. “If we want peace, Russia has to react clearly and the pressure – in coordination with the United States – must be clear – to secure this – the fire.”

Zenskyy stemmed from the meeting in which was called for strengthened sanctions to put Russia under pressure to accept a ceasefire -the fires without conditions that could pave the way for a peace agreement. In a series of messages on X, he said, “Moscow understands one language” and that a 30-day ceasefire “without murders” would create a window in which “it would really be possible to negotiate all aspects of a real peace.”

He also said it was not Putin who was stationed in Ukraine after a peace agreement, giving his support to a European contingent on the spot with an American ‘backstop’.

“If Putin wants to bring a foreign contingent to the territory of Russia, that is his business. But it is not his case to decide something about the safety of Ukraine and Europe, “said Zenskyy.

A potential problem for the coalition and for Zenskyy is that Trump has given little or no support for security schemes that entail the American military support.

‘Good vibes that come from Russia’

The United States have shifted its war approach since the return of Trump to the White House. The change in the approach to that of President Joe Biden became particularly remarkable after Trump clashed with Zenskyy on 28 February in the Oval Office.

Starmer took the lead, together with Macron, when collecting the ‘Coalition of the Willing’, partly to convince Trump to maintain the support for Kiev. One outcome is already a growing acceptance of European countries in particular that they have to do more to guarantee their own safety, also by increasing their defense expenditure.

The office of Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that the German leader was the willingness of Zenskyy to enter an “unconditional” 30-day ceasefire, welcomed and “emphasized the meaning of the leading role of the US president”.

Trump expressed optimism on Friday that Putin, who met a meeting with the American envoy Steve Witkoff earlier this week, will support a ceasefire.

“I come from the position over a cease -the fire and finally a deal some pretty good vibes that come from Russia,” he said.

Ukraine, under severe military pressure on parts of the front line three years after the full invasion of Russia, has already approved the cropable. The Russian army has been given a battlefield momentum and analysts say that Putin will probably be reluctant to hurry up -the fires, while he thinks he has an advantage.

“Sooner or later Putin will have to come to the table,” said Starmer. “So this is the moment, let the weapons remain silent, let the barbaric attacks on Ukraine, once and for all, stop then and now agree to a cease -the fire.”
