Peacemaker Season 2, Episode 6 Review - Finally, everything is happening

Then follow the full spoilers Arbitrator Season 2, episode 6 – “Ignorance is Chris”.

Nazi planet.

The internet called it a few weeks ago, and now, when we enter the last episode of the season, we finally have confirmation that Happy Place, its best dimension, is actually the happy place of John Price the world of Nazis. Or at least the Nazi country. They even have a Nazi American flag!

But that’s not all that happens in “Ignorance is Chris”, which after a rather slow -moving season finally moves to high equipment in the last 10 minutes, and each of the main characters stands in the face of a dramatic and dangerous corner. Let’s start with the most buzzing.

Lex Luthor (Nicholas Houl)

Rick Flag Frank Grillo concluded a contract with the devil now, when Argus is, as he put it, “partners with Lex Luthor.” Yes, Nicholas Hoult appears from last summer Superman Long enough to connect Rick Sr. A way to trace the room dimensional portal. We came to the conclusion that something great happened this week, because HBO failed to share advanced screens of this episode for critics, not to mention that James Gunn (who wrote and directed this segment wrote and directed this segment) interviews “Ignorance Is Chris” (more after talking to him).

Is it only me or Hoult plays a little colder here, a little more serious, a little more terrifying than in Superman? Perhaps this is simply a more adult approach to peace, because the program gives her heroes (among their stupidity), and maybe this is the result of Lex’s bitterness after his perspective, his attempt to save the world from the “metahuman plague” and instead he was thrown in Belle, who brought for life (or 265, regardless of what comes) live among superpoops.

So who is the real villain of this season?

The point is that despite the entire conversation of Rick Sr. That he does not want to deal with another dimensional split, such as what has gone into Superman, becomes more and more clear that he has a larger program besides, and here he confirms to Lex that he has “another idea” for what to do when he finds Chris’s technology. What is this idea? Start applying your plants now, but whatever it turns out, the scene between Houl and Grillo is played nicely, even when he goes home that Rick Sr. He is not really a villain of this season, just like he acted in this moral gray that can lead to good people making bad decisions.

So who is the real villain of this season? It seems to me that this is a Nazi planet. While Harcourt (Jennifer Holland), after landing in this dimension, immediately noticed what Chris did not do – the lack of colorful people – Danielle Brooks advertising is of course the one that is the goal as soon as he goes beyond the Nazi house of Smith. Things begin slowly, and the woman passes and stares at it, but soon the area transforms into an invasion of the situation of body catches when they chase her on the street. This includes Keith (David Denman), Chris’s brother, who, like the alternative dimension of Robert Patrick, Auggie, seemed quite a nice guy so far. But then he screams: “One got out! Black!” Strange how a charming guy can be a monster.

Keith Smith (David Denman) and the true nature of the best dimension.

This is a great discovery-although Gunn had to know that we all came up with it earlier-she was cut by the rest of the children from 11th Street, which takes place in various problems. Steve Agee’s Economos, as a result of a quite stupid plan to just spend time around Smith House and I hope that Chris is coming home, but Auggies does not fall into Auggie, not Chris. The blue dragon can now be old, but it is still fast and easily removes Economosa before he translates the blade through his hand, causing that Ekonomos spills his guts into every small detail about Chris Prime … who of course killed Chris Auggie.

Adrian (Freddie Stroma), finally back in his watchful suit, fulfills his dream and meets Alt-Adrian. And they are indeed an accurate match, which of course leads to a lot of weirdness and a heavy trails … Until Alt-Adrian does not let him hate peace. And that’s why he joined Sons of freedom even!

Liberty’s sons were, of course, a terrorist organization that tried to blow up the building in episode 3, before Chris stopped them lethal (and quite exciting). At that time, fans speculated and I would bet the dollars for donuts, that they were right that the sons are actually fighters about freedom in the Nazi dimension. What, among other things, means that Chris did not only kill his Alt-Ja, but also a group of goodness in this world. The worst dimension in history.

void
Children from 11th Street are going to get into real trouble.

And then there are Chris and Harcourt. Chris not only thinks that the Nazi flag finally – certainly a deflating moment for every hero and patriot, not to mention who thought he found a perfect life in this world – but the situation with him and Harcourt and Harcourt I Second Harcourt They all come to a boil. And between Chris and our Harcourt, things are complicated. How complicated:

Chris: “I know you don’t hate me.”

Harcourt: “I know I know not.”

Chris: “But I’m in love with you, Emilia.”

Harcourt: “Yes, I know.”

Chris: “Yes, I thought.”

This is another really good scene in the episode with the group and a good feat, when it considers not only, like Peacemaker, the price immediately began in Suicide Squad, but also the emotional gymnastics that the actor and Holland do here.

And it is before Alt-Harcourt and arrested Harcourt Prime …

Thoughts from the quantum chamber:

  • Funny that Lex didn’t even hear about the room.
  • Was Lex permanently wounded by the crypto attack in Superman, hence the chick? Or maybe he still heals? Will it lead to Energy overalls that has already been teased by Author: Gunn for Man of Tomorrow?
  • Where is the Judomaster? He also jumped to the last section of the dimension (unless he still wanders on a quantum chamber). On the other hand, the Nazi planet is probably not very friendly for him …
  • So in the preview of the episode next week, who is the prisoner, to which Lex directed Rick Sr.?
  • And what is the real plan of Rick Sr.? Is it possible that he just tries to see his son again, even if it is his alternative version of the dimension? This would certainly be nicely associated with the topics of the season.
