The episode 3 seems to have a possible formula in Lazaru. Looks like a show can go on Carmen Sandiego-Chik adventure to find a villain. This episode also seems to establish that the series will be difficult for social comments from different political issues. In this episode, we got some interesting actions and scenery, which was much more interesting and exciting than the last episode. Without unnecessary affection, let’s summarize what happened.
We learn about what happened last week Cliffhangger. It turns out that hacker got into satellite surveillance systems and inserted Dr. Skinner’s face everywhere. We get a joking image of Dr. Skinner’s face on Lady Bikini. It seems that a brilliant hacker works with him, or Dr. Skinner is a polymat that he is also one of the smartest hackers in the world. The Lazarus team decides to be divided into two places to find the clues to Dr. Skinner. Chris and Leland go to Dr. Skinner Ritz’s estate, and Axel and Dougs go to the homeless camp, where Dr. Skinner was spotted.
Chris and Leland are masked as janitors hired to clean Dr. Skinner’s estate, and it turns out that their excursion was probably meaningless because they found nothing particularly interesting. The excursion of the Arsel camp and the arc is much better. They hunt someone named Jerry, who is an old friend Arsel, who should be responsible for the homeless camp. They find a person who had a granddawn Jerry who is now passing Jill. Axel still accepts his friend. She tells of discrimination that the poor and LGBT face. The arc comments on anti-black prejudices. Jill gives Axel numerous hugs and kisses, and the axel has an uncomfortable facial expression, receiving the specified affection.
The arc continues to interrogate people in the homeless camp, while Aksel decides to play a game on the playground with someone in the camp. He uses his gymnastics and acrobatic skills to dominate the game in a fairly cool scene. The arc learns about Dr. Skinner’s grandmother in Istanbul, and this leads us to a wandering journey. The said grandmother is known for her Baklav, who is eventually an important storyline.
Axel and Leland use a futuristic vehicle to travel to futuristic Istanbul. The city has a fairly cool design, even if architecture and culture may not be accurate. Since this is established in the future, this is Istanbul, the show has this excuse. At least the setting looks cool enough. The time has passed, and we will finally get to the mandatory battle scene. General thieves emerge, and the axel uses its flip, and other tricks to provide stylish actions, and Leland just stands there. It seems that just like in the second episode, the axel does all the interesting things, and the rest of the Lazar team just stands. It would be great if the rest of the team demonstrated their own combat skills, or at least something resembled personality, but we got what they got.
It turns out that our heroes eventually lose their battle, and crimes are trying to steal the impossible removal of bracelets from our heroes. Our passionate characters say they are there for Baklav’s grandmother Skinner and thieves, “Oh, why you didn’t say that,” and they released Axel and Leland. They eat her Baklav and learn that Dr. Skinner planned to visit her grandmother for Christmas, but contacted his manic destruction of the human race. The episode ends with Hacker Elina said she has leadership.
We have the potential of a fun formula if we continue this topic Globetrotting. Dr. Skinner’s characters and central secret are not really clicking, but Watanabe style kept things afloat. Let’s see what localization we get the next episode.
