Kaiju Season 2 #8 trailer previews the next arc

A new arc is about to begin Kaiju #8 season 2 which continues to adapt in Shonen Jump manga by Naoya Matsumoto. Next up in the series is the Operation Bungui-toge Conquest arc, which begins in episode 19. Check out a preview in the trailer below.

Based on the manga by Naoya Matsumoto, Kaiju #8 is produced by Production IG in collaboration with Shigeyuki Miya Blood Lad managing the project as director. Its scripts are handled by Ichiro Okouti, whose credits include the last film SPY × FAMILY Code: White, Azumanga Dayo and Sk8 Infinity. The music was composed by Yuta Bandoh.
Crunchyroll streamed the first season when it aired in Japan and will stream the second, giving the following description of the series:
Kaiju #8 Plot
In a world plagued by menacing creatures known as Kaiju, Kafka Hibino sought to enlist in the Japan Defense Forces to defeat them.
“Let’s destroy the Kaiju together.”
Kafka made a vow to his childhood friend Mina Ashiro. Over time, life circumstances forced them to separate, and he gave up his life ambitions.
He took a job at Monster Sweeper, Inc., a professional cleaning company that specializes in cleaning up the aftermath of kaiju fights. Meanwhile, Mina Ashiro is now the captain of the 3rd Division of the Defense Force. Right now, he is not worthy to fight the Kaiju alongside her.
At work, Kafka meets the highly motivated Reno Ichikawa. Reno’s undying determination to join the Defense Force leaves no room for failure. His persistence reawakens Kafka’s desire to stand by Mina as they protect humanity from the Kaiju together.
A dream, frozen in time, thawed by a burning promise
But Kafka does not know that the imminent threat of the Kaiju is unexpectedly closing in on him.
