How do you achieve a permanent stop -fire between Russia and Ukraine? | Russia-Ukraine War

A Russian drone strike hit the Ukraine region in three years after the first direct conversations in three years.

It took three years to get civil servants from Ukraine and Russia in the same room.

But President Vladimir Putin, who suggested the meeting, did not go to Istanbul and the conversations ended in less than 90 minutes.

The result: an agreement for a large-scale prisoner exchange, talks about their president meeting and both parties push their vision of a future ceasefire.

Yet diplomacy does not limit the big gap between Russia and Ukraine.

So, does President Putin agree to continue talking to prevent more sanctions?

And with Russia steadily on the battlefield, can President Zenskyy afford to strive for peace without further compromises?
