Fantasy Baseball Week 1 Preview: Top Sleeper Hitters for both four and 11-day periods, led by Lourdes Gurriel

You probably don’t need a sleep mode for week 1.

This also applies to slaper titchers, who will find you in a separate article, but it is especially the case for batters, who are not so susceptible to matchups and are more difficult to predict in a week’s steps.

But maybe you have already touched the injury bug. Maybe you play in a competition with deeper line -ups and you don’t have a reliable starter for every place. I can see why you power I need a sleeper hitter for week 1, just … probably not.

Anyway, I have sleep recommendations for you and will be every week of the season. Note that I will limit my selection for that Roasted in less than 80 percent of the CBS Sports Leagues.

This first week actually requires two lists. With the season that starts on a Thursday, some competitions will choose to treat the opening weekend as its own four-day score period (the CBS standard), but others will combine it with the first full week for an extra long 11-day score period. Be sure that it doesn’t matter how your competition has chosen to deal with it, I have covered you.
