Disney Store TikTok Shop F1 Collection: Online Shopping

Disney store will debut its first-ever TikTok Shop on Thursday morning, opening a new channel where fans can purchase the brand’s merchandise directly from their feeds. To mark its debut, TikTok Shop will include an exclusive Disney Store x F1 capsule with a graphic hoodie, t-shirt and collectible pin. The limited edition pieces will be available directly from the Disney Store TikTok Shop and DisneyStore.com starts at 8am PT.

“Disney Store is always looking for ways to connect with today’s consumers, including by helping redefine how fans buy the stories they love,” said Patrick Sager, VP of Disney Stores. Variety. “As more consumers turn to TikTok and other social platforms for inspiration and purchases, Disney is meeting them where they are. The newly launched Disney Store TikTok Shop offers curated collections of adult and family favorites, giving fans a whole new way to connect with iconic characters and franchises.”

The launch of TikTok comes as Disney Store continues to adapt its retail strategy to social platforms where fans already spend a lot of time browsing and discovering products. TikTok Shop has become a major driver of real-time sales and trend-based shopping since launching on the platform in 2023.

Disney Store, meanwhile, has been a key pillar of Disney’s consumer business since 1987, when the company opened its first standalone store. The concept quickly became a mall-era phenomenon, spreading across the US, Europe and Japan in the 1990s. After several restructurings in the 2000s, Disney brought the chain back in-house and later shifted its emphasis to e-commerce, folding the brand into what is now DisneyStore.com while retaining select flagship locations in major cities. Today, Disney Store operates as the consumer-facing retail arm of Disney’s broader merchandising strategy, combining brick-and-mortar flagships, online stores and pop culture collaborations.
