Crunchyroll Manga App Adds 26 Titles From Titan – News

Crispy roll announced Monday that it is partnering with Titan to add the following titles to its site Crispy roll Manga App:

The Crispy roll Manga app launched on iOS and Android devices in the United States and Canada on October 9, with the browser version launching on October 15. The ad-free program is separate from the main one Crispy roll streaming service.

Previous subscribers to Crispy rollThe Ultimate Fan subscription level ($15.99) can use the service at no additional charge. Fan and Mega Fan levels can add app access for an additional $4.00/C$5.50 for the Fan level (total price is $11.99/C$15.49) and an additional $3.50/C$5.00 for the Mega Fan level (total $15.49/C$17.49).

Crispy roll describes the service as “supporting Link-U Group,” a Japanese media company that operates services such as the digital manga site ComikeyKompas digital manga store, web cartoon companies Studio Moon6, VTuber and streaming production company Romanz.

Service partner publishers include AlphaPoliscompass, Square Enix, Viz Media, Yen Press, Shueisha, Club J-Romanand ThirdlineNEXT.

App features include compatibility with mobile devices, tablets and browsers; download chapters for offline reading; light and dark mode; full page spreads; and the ability to create a personalized reading list with recommendations.

This is not the first time Crispy roll offered the manga with the company launching first Crispy roll Manga service in October 2013. The service was at the same time publishing house (simulpub) names of Published by Kodansha USA in more than 170 countries. Crispy roll deleted 14 simulpub titles in February 2018 and removed 10 catalog titles in March 2018. Published by Kodansha USA then deleted a number of manga titles from Crispy roll in January 2023. Kodansha published a statement to Crispy rollstating that the suspension of simulpub updates was due to “changes” in the simulpub distribution program.

Crispy roll ended his first Crispy roll Manga service in December 2023.
