Code Vein II Game Streams Prologue Trailer – News

Bandai Namco Entertainment started streaming a new trailer for the prologue Code Wayne II, continuation to Code Wayne a post-apocalyptic role-playing game gameon friday

There will be a game launching January 30 (January 29 in Japan) for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via steam.

Herds Namco describes the game:

CODE VEIN II features a deep narrative where players and characters are bound by blood, fate and destiny, set in a future where the last remnants of humanity and the Revenants battle a world on the brink of collapse. After the sudden appearance of a threat known as the Luna Rapacis, the Revenants succumbed to the madness, transforming into monstrous creatures called Horrors. A ghostbuster piloted by a mysterious girl named Lou who has the power to travel back in time to rewrite the fate of the world. As a Fiction Hunter, the player will intervene at key moments in history to change the fates of key fighters, uncovering hidden truths and information to save the future.

Players can use blood drained from enemies to unlock skills, fight with blood codes, and use unique weapons and equipment called “Prisons” and bond with partner allies. Each partner has different skills and narrative connections.

The original game was launched in Japan in September 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via steam. Bandai Namco Entertainment announced in July 2018 that the game’s release was delayed to 2019. The game was originally scheduled for launching in Japan in September 2018.

Anime studio ufotable animated intro cinematic, and VAMPS performed the intro song “Underworld”.
