Battlefield 6It was promised that the update on launch day would be big and EA didn’t lie. Full notes have just arrived ahead of the shooter’s release tomorrow, October 10. They have over 2,700 words. It’s about twice as long as my last video, but dedicated solely to things like recoil and time to death.
If you’ve played the beta, is there anything you’ll actually recognize when you play the full version? I have no idea, honestly they could have hidden the issue of replacing every character model with Mr. Bean here and I would probably have had trouble registering it.
The update is called Patch 1.0.1.0, and EA says it’s about “fixing bugs, fine-tuning balance, and increasing clarity throughout the experience.” I shudder to think how large the file size can be.
The studio often has “major update” titles. announced earlier this weekwhen they also said they heard people calling for the ocean. Namely the following:
- Movement has been improved with reduced momentum from slide to jump, lower jump height, and increased inaccuracy when shooting in the air or while sliding.
- Balanced weapon handling with overall tuning and recoil adjustments for more consistent gameplay.
- Assault and Breakthrough layouts have been changed to provide a better balance between attackers and defenders.
- Improved maps with better movement, lighting adjustments, and overall performance improvements.
- The UI and HUD have received a number of Polish improvements providing clearer prompts, smoother navigation and more accurate displays.
- Settings and controls have been expanded with improvements in many areas.
- Sound changes throughout the game, adding clearer signals, improved weapon and vehicle sounds, and fixes for missing or delayed effects.
- Network code optimized to reduce desynchronization, time to death, and invisible corruption cases.
Read it all? Okay, by my calculations you only have 2,667 words left to go. If you don’t have a tactical version of the traditional Sunday Papers reading monocle and comfy slippers, I suggest you do so now, video game lieutenant.
Once you’re ready, you’ll find them in the post below.

That’s right, your eyes are almost certainly set on dear life right now, so here’s a quick reminder that you can find the exact times for Battlefield 6’s full release on October 10 Here. It’s worth checking out Edwin’s review also in the very first paragraph I saluted and pressed F to pay tribute to his writing skills. Yes, I know that last bit is a Call of Duty gag, but let me have it.
