Anne Shirley reminds us that she will always be such a girl

Opinion: Ann Shirley’s character has a world in shortness of breath not only for a year or decades, but for century. Published in 1905, Anne of Green Gables is a new series, which is probably one of the most recognizable “cuts of life”, even to this day. Anna’s story has already inspired a few adaptations but the most surprising that she has two Anime -adaptation. The first anime adaptation was aired in 1979, almost fifty years ago, adapting not only the first book, but the whole series, and it was considered perfect. However, with the announcement of the second anime adaptation, named Enn Shirley After the title protagonist, fans happily jumped to watch another adaptation. As one of these fans, I personally had problems with how this story has fascinated humanity for so many years. In fact, I congratulate future adaptations.

Enn Shirley -This is the story of cutting a life about dissatisfied, ore-haired, young, orphan, a girl who is mistakenly adopted by Catbert brothers. Instead of a girl, brothers and sisters asked the boy to help on their farm, green Gaibla. Although at first the intention to return her, Catberts quickly contacted a unique girl that is broken by energy and imagination. History follows Anna’s life when she grows with her new loving family, creates new friends and enemies, and hangs a simple but dramatic life of love and dreams.

I can identify my greatest problem with this anime adaptation about one particular thing: the first course is much stronger than the second in each aspect. The first episode caused an entire anime community thanks not only to Anna’s ideal casting, capricious dialogue, wonderful picturesque staff of Prince Edward Island, but also a creative direction. When Anne meets with Matthew Catbert at the railway station, the POV takes the jokey look of the camera. Anne pops up so close to the lens that she looks distorted with humorous eyes and curved forehead, talking all the time that she imagined on a train to Eionle. This direction quickly establishes Anna’s fanciful personality, the starting attitude and interesting sensitivity, which makes the whole episode feel as exciting and new as Green Gables is Anne. This type of creative direction remains consistently present in the first year. After a few episodes, Anne dreams of skating over a beautiful snow landscape with black hair instead of red, and the direction is markedly switched to a black and white color that demonstrates her imagination as opposed to a bright and colorful real life around her.

Unfortunately, the second course loses this magical aspect, and it makes it the benefit that it was strongly directed by first -year adaptation. Although I can see the argument that Anne has grown in the second year and thus would not have those stupid, sweeping, emotional outbreaks in combination with the creative direction, to emphasize this part of her personality, I still think that there can be a presentation even with a more mature outlook. If anything, I think it is important to have these creative presentations, especially as Anne matures, because the key to her character is that no matter how she does not come to know more about the world for all the best and worst, she never loses her imagination and optimism.

The second course also suffers from greater problems in steps than the first. For anyone who is familiar with the series, Gilbert is one of the most important and important people in Anna’s life. The first course took more than enough time to make their interaction, directing the audience from its indignation to tease him to eventually accept his true apology and friendship. The second year is when the romanticizer comes into their lives, but unfortunately, anime misses many of its interactions. Their ups and falls make them a childhood friend of love one of the most significant relationships in literary history. However, since these important moments are cut, the titular moment when they proclaim their love feels much less impressive than all its previous iterations.

The first course covers mostly the first book and a little second, so the second course should cover more reasons to achieve the ending that all the adaptations wanted to finish: Anna’s grandiose story. Unlike how she imagined her life, but it is as passionate and soap as she hoped. The end scene was the only point when the impressive direction returned, so even with my critics, trembling apple flowering caused butterflies in my stomach. I just couldn’t help but wonder how much more I could feel if the adaptation suffered all my strengths from the first year to the second.

In view of this, if there is one consistent thing I want to take a shower, it is a voice actor for Anna. For the first time, Honok Inua heard, and it is striking how she manages to voice Anne, growing for many years, capturing a displeasure, a frantic girl she was at the beginning of a mature, compassionate but confident woman she became. It was a big role with many other voice actors, some of them are experienced, but in the end, Honoca Inue managed to outwit them.

Enn Shirley It is included in the books as another adaptation of this sign series. Although this may not be perfect, I am still grateful for its existence. This is indeed a testament to the strengths of the history and relativity of the characters that a book written a hundred years ago remains relevant for anyone who is watching today. In the end, it is the story of the loving life of Anne, and if his endless adaptation does not testify to the life loving Anne in response, what is it?
