Alabama coach Nate Oats (Sorta) explains why he top scorer Mark Sears vs. Lsu

Alabama guard Mark Sears Came in the game on Saturday evening against LSU, who scored the team and the Southeastern Conference, but was kept scoreless and brought the entire second half of the Crimson Tide’s 80-73 victory On the couch.

“We played the boys we thought they gave us the best chance to win in the second half,” said Alabama coach Nate Oats.

Sears, a preseason for all-American on average 19 points per match, hit 0-out-5 from the field with three rebounds, three assists and two turnover.

Oats pointed to defensive consistency, especially in the second half, as a reason for Line Up changes.

“I didn’t think our second half defense has been very good lately, so we made the point for the boys, we have finished starting the same group that starts the game,” said Oats. “Our defense was considerably better in the second half than in the first half, and we didn’t do much this year.”
