Additional ‘Übel Blatt’ Cast Members Announced

The official website of Bad letter (Ubel Blatt) television anime revealed nine additional cast members on Saturday. Adaptation of the anime series Etoroji Shiono‘s dark fantasy manga began airing on January 11 at 12:30 AM on Tokyo MX, followed by BS Nippon Television, Kansai Television and AT-X. Takashi Naoya (Jitsu wa Ore, Saikyu deshita?) directs the anime Satellite light and Staple Entertainment. Tatsuya Takahashi (Saihate no Paladin) processes the series composition and Kiyoshi Tateishi (Kinsu no Vermei) develops characters. Avoid Narita (A dark gathering) creates music.

Shiono was originally published in three chapters in YG’s Gangan (now Young Gangan) in January 2004, later published as Angry letter 0 (Ubel Blatt 0). The dark fantasy manga continued to appear in the magazine from December 2004 to November 2009. After a two-year hiatus, the manga resumed in Big Gangan in December 2011 and ended in March 2019. Square Enix published the 23rd and final volume in June 2019. continuation of the manga started on Big Gangan in February 2024 and the first volume was released on December 24.

Yen Press licensed the manga in English in February 2014 for a 2-in-1 omnibus release, and released the 11th volume in December 2019, which includes volumes 22 and 23. The publisher also releases sequels to the manga’s English-language chapters.
