
Battlefield Studios has made a key developer-led change to Battlefield 6’s Conquest mode says should help make matches last longer, but in a good way.
As of today, November 20, the number of tickets for Conquest matches has increased from 1,000 to 1,200. The developer said it arrived at this change after reviewing overall feedback, as well as “win rates, balance, the impact of objective play, and more.”
The Update 1.1.2.0 We’ve made changes to help push players towards their goal, and so far it’s working, including more comeback wins and other positive results. However, these changes have also led to matches ending “earlier than intended”, so to address this issue, Battlefield Studios is increasing ticket numbers. The developer stated that this should help make the match longer and more focused on achieving the goal.
“We believe that a focus on objective play is deeply ingrained in Battlefield’s DNA, and now more than ever, pursuing a goal, working with your team, and generally being a cohesive team will ensure your team wins,” the developer explained.
Battlefield 6 update 1.1.2.0 also introduced: major change to aim assistrestoring the system to the state it was in in the open beta. In other news, the latest season of Battlefield 6 continues with the debut of a new map, Eastwood, and many other microtransactions.
The Battlefield 6 website claims that the game is the “best-selling shooter of the year”, but the company has not provided any sources or data to support this claim.
