Nasa, Blue Origin calls Media to attend the launch of Mars mission

NASA and Blue Origin reopen the accreditation of the media to start Escapade mission (Escapade and Plasma Acceleration and Dynamics Explorers). Twin ESCAPADE The spacecraft will study the interaction of the solar wind with Mars, providing insight into the real -time planet reaction in space time and how solar activity triggers atmospheric escape. This will be the second launch of the new Glenn Rocket Blue Origin.

The media interested in covering the Eskapad launch activity must apply for media credentials. Medium which previously applied The media credentials to launch eskapades should not be re -reported.

American media and American citizens representing international media must apply until 11:59 pm on Monday, October 13th. The requests for accreditation in the media should be submitted online to: https://media.ksc.nasa.gov.

Blue Origin targets the launch of another Glenn’s second mission (NG-2) from the Space Launch Complex 36 at the Cape Canaveral Space Force station in Florida. The accredited media will have the opportunity to participate in prelaunch media activities and cover the launch. Once the target is a certain starting date, NASA and Blue Origin will state additional details regarding the media schedule.

The Escapade mission is part of NASA’s small innovative missions for planetary programs, funded by the Department of Heliophysics of the Agency. The mission is led by the University of California, Berkeley Space Science Laboratory, and Rocket Lab designed the spacecraft. The Agency’s starting program, headquartered in NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Florida, provided launch services in accordance with the VADR (Venture-Class Acquition of Dedbed and Rideshare).
