The FOX Sports broadcaster, which played as a Quarterback in the NFL from 2009 to 2018, is “in a stable condition” after suffering after injury, which made him admitted to the hospital in Indianapolis on October 4.

“We are very grateful to the medical team for their exceptional care and support,” the network said in a statement about X (formerly Twitter) October 4. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Mark, and we ask that everyone in this period respects the privacy of his and his family.”

Sanchez’s Agent Andrew Kessler confirmed the condition of his client, telling CBS News“That is really all I know and can say.”

The 38-year-old was in the city to name Fox’s reporting on the 5 October game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Las Vegas Raiders.

Local authorities said they investigate a “physical disruption” with “two adult men, which results in a man who receives cuts and the other rising injuries that are consistent with stab wounds,” one rack of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
