NASA, Northrop Grumman and Spacex aim at the lowest of 18:11 EDT, on Sunday, September 14, for the next launch to deliver scientific investigations, stocks and equipment to deliver the international space station. Filled with more than £ 11,000 in stock, the Northrop Grumman Cygnus XL spacecraft, which is carried on the Spacex Falcon 9 rocket, will be launched from the Space Launch Complex 40 at the Cape Canaveral Space Force station in Florida. This mission will be the first Cygnus XL flight, a larger, larger version of the spacecraft that can be coated in solar drive.
After arriving, the astronauts at the Space Station will use Canadarm2 to capture Cygnus XL on Wednesday, September 17, before the robotic incorporated the spacecraft on the connection of a single cargo unloading module.
We highlight demonstrations of exploration and space station technology, facilitated by delivery on this Cygnus XL, include materials for production semiconductor crystals in space and equipment to develop improvements for Kriogenic fuel tanks. The Cygnus XL space spacecraft should stay in the orbit lab until March before moving and burning in the Earth’s atmosphere. Northrop Grumman appointed SS William spacecraft “Willie” McCool, in honor of NASA’s astronaut that failed in 2003 during the Columbia space accident.
