Nassourdine Imavov survived Caio Borralho in the main event of UFC Fight Night in France, earned a unanimous decision and consolidated his claim as a potential title challenger for middleweight Khamzat Chimaev.
Imavov, who is fighting for his home crowd in Accor Arena in Paris, achieved a fifth consecutive UFC victory, with the three jury members who give a clear victory for the 84 kg (185 pound) Jager: 50-45, 49-46, 49-46.

The Saturday evening match was one-sided, with Imavov (20-4 MMA) who arranged the distance for the duration of the fight with clean boxing and pressure volume, so Borralho (17-2 MMA) could not find openings, while he entered the match with an imposing 62 percent of his victories by KO/TKO of Submission.

In the Co-Headline fight, Benoit Saint Denis insured a followed choke about Mauricio Ruffy at 2:56 of the second round.
Saint Denis (15-3 MMA) received a large lift from the audience of the hometown and became the first hunter to submit Ruffy (12-2 MMA) in his career.
Ruffy’s loss against Saint Denis broke a seven-fighter-winning series that goes back to November 2019.
