Crunchyroll closes the season with a two -episodal finale, which begins with the ingenuly designed fight against the boss, where Sunraku uses brains over the variety to use the strengths of the enemy against them. Battle full of high rates and nods on classical game mechanics, demonstrates a creative strategy, unpredictable turns and sharp writing. Humor is freely woven all over, often fun on the infamous bizarre waves of RPG – as vague tips and fun not useful NPCs – keeping the tone, playful, without sacrificing intensity. Even with a few stenches and some cut corners visually, the episode remains tightly constructed and exciting.

The second half moves the transmission to a full sight when the gear is raised to a loud tournament. In the real fashion of Shangri-la Frontier, everything comes out of the rail the most interesting way, to compete with cosplaying, absurd excuses to stay for a while, and a backup plan that depends on chaotic matches planning. It is a crazy, funny and surprisingly sincere sequence, which enhances the main theme of the show fake through games. Sunraku, Pencilgon and Katzo get moments to shine, proving that under stupidity lies some true depth of character and loyalty.

In general, this two-syllable finale of Shangri-la Frontier is striking the perfect balance of brains, chaos and comedies, delivering everything that makes the series so nice. From a reasonably executed combat battle, which focuses on a strategy over the gross power to an arc of a tournament filled with masking, stopping tactics and unexpected turns, both episodes cover the love of the show for game culture with sharp writing and high energy. Although not every storyline wraps, walking occasionally, the finale is leaning to a crazy rock that creates a scene for a recently announced third season. This final chapter is more inclined to set up than payment, but does it with sufficient charm and energy so that fans seek what is next.
