During his second presidential campaign, Donald Trump promised to carry out the largest deportation program that the US has ever seen.
And faithful to his word – Trump’s administration is arrestingHolding and deporting immigrants without legal status.
But as part of the action against illegal immigration, legal immigrants become entangled in the mix.
And then there are people like Amir Makled – an American citizen and lawyer. Makled was held by border days at an airport in Detroit when he returned from a family vacation in the Caribbean.
