According to research by the Labor Party, more than 60 of the Reform Council are candidates who are in the Conservative Party elections of the Conservative Party.

Reform has also selected an ex-conservative for his candidate in the upcoming Runcorn and Helsby Byealection, while the mayor of the party for Greater Lincolnshire is the former Tory MP Andrea Jenkyns, who lost its parliamentary seat in West Yorkshire last July.

All MPs of Reform, including the party leader, Nigel Farage, were previously members of the Conservative Party.

Labor has accused the party of Farage of a “Mass -GRAND” while the reform populates its ranks with candidates who “want to save their own political career” after the Conservatives Leed enormous losses in the general elections of 2024.

A spokesperson for the reform said: “This is less than 4% of all our 1,630 candidates. Is this the same Work Party that accepted the defects of the then conservative MPs Christian Wakeford and Natalie Elphicke? ‘

The work investigation of candidate -nominations for the local elections in May shows that more than 60 candidates for Reforming Council in Great -Britain have served as councilors, candidates or activists for the Tories.

The parliamentary candidate of the reform for the Byelection in Runcorn and Helsby, caused by the resignation of the Labor MP Mike Amesbury after a criminal conviction, is Sarah Pochin, a former Tory councilor for Cheshire East.

In messages on social media that have been removed since Pochin became a reform candidate, she described her ‘absolute pleasure’ in 2019 with the then secretary, Michael Gove, while she was a conservative councilor before she met her meeting with Liz Truss’ business secretary, Jacob Rees-Mogg, as’ inspiring ‘described.

Nineteen of the 23 councils for elections This May are run by the conservatives. There will be mayors elections in the west of Englandand Peterborough and Cambridgeshire, and inaugural mayor competitions in Hull and East Yorkshire, and Greater Lincolnshire.

A spokesperson for Labor said: “A snake could throw out his skin, but at the end of the day it is still a snake. Is that why throwing away so many candidates from Nigel Farage’s advice from their years that the Tory party serves?

“Farage claims to be a breath of political fresh air, but he has just lifted 60 candidates who did not get our country as card -bearing conservatives.

“The truth is that we now know when you take the mask from a reform candidate, you will often find a tired old Tory who tries to live a failed political career.

“A voice for reform at 1 can run the risk of leaving a Tory through the back door. Only labor can make real change in Great Britain.”
