The Fulton County Medical Examiner office confirmed the rapper’s death VarietyIt states that he was transported on Friday by medical emergency help services in Atlanta to the Grady Marcus Trauma Center. His cause of death is currently indefinite because an autopsy is not completed.
Scooter, born Kenneth Edward Bailey, developed a strong presence in Atlanta -Rap during his career and became one of the first artists signed at the FreeBandz label of the future and later Waka Flame’s Brick Squad Monopoly under Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records. He focused on the basis of his steady mixtape output, released records with Gucci Mane and Zaytoven, and earned his first Billboard Hot 100 performance with a position on Future and Juice WLD’s “Jet Lag” in 2018.
Scooter was born in Walterboro, South Carolina, and moved to the Kirkwood community of Atlanta at the age of nine. He decided to pursue a music career in 2008 after an indictment for drug trafficking, in contact with his childhood -friendly future in various collaborations. Although he was not a graph titan, Scooter was a consistent presence in Atlanta Hip-Hop during his commercial tree in the years 2010, appeared on singles from the future and Young Thug and worked with artists such as Juicy J, Kodak Black and Rick Ross.
In an interview with Complex In 2013, Scooter went out on his off-cooker Flow, which he described as “excavation music”. “I don’t really care what I say on a beat as long as it is about some money,” he said. “If you try to think hard and write it down, it will be ruined.”
Scooter remained active over the years and recently released with his fourteenth project, ‘Trap’s Last Hope’, in March 2024. That album, released independently, contained guest appearances from the future, Est Gee and Peewee Longway.
