British and Irish Lions: John Dalziel joined the coaching team

Ireland forward coach Paul O’Connell – a former Lions captain and three times a tourist as a player – was generally expected to take the lead over the Lions Pack.

But with O’Connell from the running, Farrell used to Dalziel. The former Glasgow coach will share forward tasks with Fogarty, where Easterby is likely to run the defense.

Wigglesworth will be given responsibilities about skills and attacks as Farrell wants to tap into the best Six Nations performance of England in five years. England on average five attempts in the championship, an increase of 2.7 in the fall.

Farrell will choose his play team on May 8, with the first match of the Lions against Argentina in Dublin on June 20.
