Tracy Morgan 'is doing well' after vomiting during Knicks game on MSG Court, comedian says he had food poisoning

The New York Knicks And Miami Heat played a relatively competitive game for the most of three -quarters on Monday evening. The heat led after a quarter with 11, but the Knicks went to half time within two and even took a slim lead early in the third quarter. Then, with the Knicks leading 64-58, the game paused. For about 10 minutes, the heat and knicks waited on the sidelines while staff members related to a Situation Court side.

So what happened? A fan that came to the right in a chair, and the crew had to clean it up before the game could resume. That fan, it turns out, was comedian Tracy Morgan, who grew up in the Bronx and often attend Knicks games as one of their most famous fans of celebrities. Morgan was later driven out of his chair and also seemed to do with a bloody nose.

Fans often spill things on the field, but they are usually reasonably manageable. Employees wipe all the sweat off the floor, so a drink is not particularly difficult to deal with. Vomiting is of course another matter, and something that players would not be comfortable to avoid. It is rare that a fan becomes sick to sit, but as showed Monday, it happens.

After the delay, the Knicks closed the quarter on a 24-6 run to help secure a victory of 116-95, despite the absence of Star Point Guard Jalen Brunson. Their biggest care for now is Morgan, who is loved by Knicks fans for both his fandom and his work as a comedian.

Morgan gave an update on social media on Tuesday morning and said that doctors told him that he was dealing with an attack of food poisoning. The former Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock Star also jokes about pulling a similar move in the play -offs after it caused a Knicks rally.

“Thank you for all your concern! I am doing well now and doctors say it was food poisoning,” Morgan wrote in his post. “Appreciate my MSG family because it takes care of me so well and I have to scream the crew that had to clean up.

“What is even more important, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I surrender to the field, so maybe I have to break it out again in the play-offs.”

Morgan is a fixed value in Madison Square Garden, and everyone in the building certainly hopes that he will feel good enough to support the team in the upcoming play -off run of the Knicks. The 56-year-old has treated several serious health problems throughout his life, including undergoing a kidney transplant in 2010 and spending two weeks in a coma after a car accident in 2014.
