Amazon has announced a gene-driven Alexa+, a renewed version of his popular virtual assistant who uses the power of generative artificial intelligence to improve the user experience. Alexa+ Is exactly what you had imagined when you first heard of voice assistants such as Alexa, Siri and Google, but without the corresponding disappointment in their shortcomings.
The improved speech assistant can generate reactions instead of repeating what it is programmed to say. With Generative AI, Alexa+ will also have more natural conversations with users instead of listening to a prompt and responding with an action. It will support the memory to evoke preferences and conversations and will keep the context during a conversation, so it will remember what you have asked about the start of a chat and responds in that context.

But Alexa+ will not be available for all ultrasound devices, at least not in the first instance. Here is a list of the Echo devices that support Alexa+ when it starts to roll out in the coming month:
Echo devices compatible with Alexa+
- Echo -Show 8
- Echo -Show 10
- Echo Show 15
- Echo -Show 21
Amazon said it prioritizing these echo show displays in the early access period of Alexa Plus, so the renewed virtual assistant could ultimately be available on other ultrasound devices mentioned above.

Here is the official text of the company:
“[Alexa+] will be available on all ECHO devices, with the exception of certain older generation Echo devices such as Echo Dot 1st Gen, Echo 1st gene, Echo plus 1st gene, Echo Tap, Echo Show 1st gene, Echo Show 2nd gene and Echo Spot 1st gene, where you can continue to use the original Alexa. You can also try Alexa+ in your web browser, the Alexa app, compatible fire TVs and brand tablets. This experience is currently not supported on Alexa built -in devices and Amazon Astro, but we look forward to expanding Alexa+ to extra devices in the future. “
Amazon has a large arrangement of smart speakers who do not initially support the generative AI functions of Alexa+, but that does not mean that they will not get compatibility later.
Amazon’s plans for Alexa+ can be strongly bound to the display factor, so Echo speakers can be excluded from the new generative AI assistant. A smart display offers users a visual look at their conversation with Alexa+, including integrations with apps for which users have to see what the virtual assistant has come up with. Ordering an Uber without seeing the screen can finally be confusing.

But Alexa+ could do many more things for a user without trusting a display, such as answering questions and making stories. I believe that Amazon will eventually launch Alexa+ for his smart speakers, especially since there are many Alexa households who do not have an ultrasound show. ZDNet started contact with Amazon for comments about this, and we still have to get an answer.

Amazon announced that Alexa+ $ 20 costs a month and is offered as a separate service, although it will be included in the Prime Member of the membership. The Alexa+ costs are the same as Chatgpt Plus, although his individual offers must be compared if available to assess which is better.
